About Us
We are a music school for strings open to all ages and levels located in Montreal, Canada. Bariolage was founded in 2026 by violinists Sallynee Amawat, Daphne Manavopoulos, and Emily Redhead, all dedicated musicians and teachers with over twenty years of teaching experience in Canada, Asia, the United States, and Europe. Our program at Bariolage offers private lessons and group classes, as well as concerts and events. Weekly private lessons are held at our teachers’ studios in NDG, the Plateau, and the South Shore. Our group classes also take place on a weekly basis. We strive to create a community centred around the making and sharing of music, and our program includes outreach and community performances throughout the greater Montreal area.
