Concerts, Events, and Camps
Outside of weekly private lessons and group classes, our activities through the year include solo and ensemble concerts, outreach concerts, playdowns (for children) or class concerts (for adults), parent classes (for Levels 1-3), and other events and workshops.
Concerts
Concerts are opportunities for students to showcase their hard work as well as to build confidence. Students will perform in solo and ensemble recitals twice per year and participate in several less formal outreach concerts at seniors’ residences, libraries, and community centres.
Events
Special events and classes are scheduled throughout the year during group class times. These include playdowns (for children), which combine all groups and levels and include games and other fun activities, class concerts (for adults), during which students are given the opportunity to perform for each other in a relaxed setting, and parents-only classes for families with children in Levels 1-3.
Camps
Our Summer Camp for kids combines private instruction, group lessons, chamber music, and string orchestra with fun outdoor activities. This week-long intensive program is ideal for keeping up motivation and inspiration during the quieter summer months.
